FINALLY!

Yeah! A new post! Sorry I have been extremely busy and well the internet hasn't been working at our apartment since January. So now that I am home in Utah I can finally get a post up. Some new news... no we aren't pregnant, but we are finally home in Utah. I finally graduated from MSU with a B.A. in Chemistry, and a B.S. in Corporate Fitness. Also.... WE MADE IT INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH! We are finally going to be UTES! I feel very blessed for the opportunity to have made it into the Pharm D program at the U. Schyler still has a few things to do until he gets his Bachelors but he is well on his way. I am so proud of him and love how he has supported me over all these years. Only four more babe and then I can return the favor!:)

My parents, little sister, and her son came up! I have to thank them for traveling that far and for helping us out with the move! Here's a few pics of the graduation!
We had my graduation party at plant pizza so all the little kids could play and enjoy themselves. I really enjoyed spending time with my friends and family those last few days we were in Minot. Schy and I are going to miss the people very much (maybe not so much the town and not the weather at all!) I have to say that I truly found some great friends and appreciate the love and support we received while we were there. It was a great learning, and growing experience. Someone once told me the church is true no matter where you are. This is so true and I came to understand what it really means to go to a "family" ward. Everyone was a family out there and the strength and unity felt was unlike any other. I really will miss that!
On our way home we made a few stops. Our first stop was the reptile garden which had tons of snakes. They even had a 15 ft. 5 in crocodile!

This is Daxen and me petting a snake. I couldn't believe that he did this with me cause he was a little scared when we went in!
Ever wonder what we would look like a munchkins? Well here ya go:)

We then went to Bear country. This place was awesome. At first you drive in and see some different animals. We saw wolfs, mountain goats, cougars, and of course bears. When you get the section with bears. There was one bear at the entrance who would not let you in. He would guard the gate going back and forth back and forth. It was hilarious. this is the bear
At the exit there were two. That would only go half way, almost like passing the guarding off to the other bear. They of course were going back and forth. So exiting was impossible. It wasn't until one of them left that we made it through. Then you can go to a section where you can see the babies. The cubs were adorable!
We then went to see some caves. This was awesome. It was crazy to see some of God's "hidden" artwork. We then went to Mount Rushmore. This was a neat experience! It was awesome to see that someone actually carved these faces out and without the technology we have today. Here are a few pics from Mount Rushmore.
This picture is taken with all the love we have! haha jk

Summer Vaca

We finally made it back to Utah but it went by way to fast for our liking! We start our vacation with a family trip to the living aquarium ( I kept calling it a planitarium... oops lol) The coolest thing there was the sting rays and penguins. I loved spending time with the fam! Carter wasn't so willing to let us take his pic :) Dax loved watching the sting rays and Daws loved the penguins and kept asking me what does this say what does this say :)

My family reunion was on our first year anniversary. Haha but it was awesome. We played flog where Schyler and I became the champs and went four wheeling. Dawson was awesome on the four wheeler! We had so much fun!

My cousin killed this badger. It was near the wood pile outside of my grandparents cabin.

It was our anniversary and Schyler tried to surprise me with this room. We stayed at this hotel and saw this room on our honeymoon it was amazing. The bed was huge, Schy almost fell trying to get up. lol

The following week we went with Schyler's family camping at Pineview Resevoir. This has become a family tradition and was an exciting year. Schyler was finally able to ski somewhat (he's hurt his back so he's had to take it easy) after three summers of not skiing (last summer he had shoulder surgery). He's shoulder did hold up. This is him showing off his moves.

This is me trying to copy my husband lol I didn't do so well

The last morning we got up to ski D-rel got smacked by the ski, it wasn't happy he was trying to show off to us all. lol jk

This is the whole gang eating at the Oaks. We eat here every year after a week of camping.

After the week of camping we went to Mesquite with my family and decided to have a little competition amongst the group. Meesha and Schyler were a team. There team name was Scheesh. My mother and Stevie were a team and they were known as Razzeam. My dad and I were a team and dominated as Do-Uglee:) We had a blast and won bowling because my dad scored a 193 on his last game. he was on fire!

Schyler and I finally were able to eat our top of our wedding cake. It actually wasn't to bad, a little dry but it wasn't to bad.

This is my BEAUTFIUL grandmother.

This is my awesome nephew Daxen. The night before I left I taught him to give the "dirty look" and this is the creation. Isn't he freak'n hilarious? haha he was a stud
We wish we were still in Utah spending time with our family but we only have a year left of school and hopefully that will fly by with ease. We did get our air conditioner installed which is AWESOME! Schyler wasn't the happiest guy putting it in but he did an amazing job and I am so happy I have a cold house. i don't know if I was going to be able to last another day! I love it!

We're BACK!! hahaha

No we did not drop off the face of the earth although sometimes being locked up in the chemistry lab or the library kinda makes me feel like I did. We are finally finished with school for the spring semester. However I am doing summer school so I can take some extra biology courses. This semester was a lot more stressful for me and a lot less stressful for Schyler. He decided to lighten his load for schooling because of work and I cranked it on. I enjoyed this semester but I am SOOO happy it is finally finished, it should be smooth sailing from here on out.... at least I hope.
Some new facts:
I am doing my corporate fitness practicum so I am working at two fitness centers: ASK(Accelerated Kinectics Training) where I train athletes from 7-18 years of age. It has been fun and the best part is I get to workout when I am done so it really motivates me to workout. MSU fitness Center where I train older individuals. I only have one right now but love doing it. In June I will start at a Cardiac Rehab center and hopefully I will be able to see an open heart surgery there.. it will be exciting!
I also have a new job with my others... research for Dr. Bobylev with organic chemistry (leuckart reaction for those who know what that is) and chemistry stockroom. The new job is research with Dr. Schmidt where I will be working with the products of Dr. Bobylev's research and seeing what they do to the body. I am excited to start the new one this upcoming week.
Schyler and I got new mountain bikes... (picture will be coming shortly its not working for some reason) and they are awesome. We went bike riding the other day on a trail you wouldn't expect in ND. N e ways though I crashed twice.... funny story actually so there are some pretty steep hills (short hills) and there is one I just can't seem to get up well n e ways I was infront of schy and of course couldn't make it up it. I always get off of my bike to the left and when I went to go do that I saw schyler coming up on my left side and it scared me so I went to the right lost my balance and fell backwards sliding down the hill. I had to of hit a branch cause it smashed in my Styrofoam on my helmet! THANK GOODNESS FOR HELMETS! Then later on I was trying to go faster cause the trail took me like 45 minutes to get through the first time so I was trying to pick up speed well I came around a corner and realized there was another hill so I went to go shift and it kinda threw me of balance cause of the lower gear....BOOM! My left handle bar clipped a tree and I went sailing through the air. I kinda wish we would have had a video camera cause that one would have been SWEET!!! hahaha N e ways not finished there so we get into the car after "trying" to look for ticks and I am sitting in the car waiting for schyler to get out of subway when i feel this thing crawling on my leg! AHHHHH!!! It was a tick so I flick it off of me and realized I couldn't find the sneaky bugger. So I'm looking and looking only to see out of the corner of my eye another tick waiting to attack me, and then there was another one under my seat. I jumped out of the car and waited for my knight in shining armor to save me from those awful things! I did learn some interesting facts:
1. Those things don't die with a stomp like a spider would you have to freak'n do the river dance on them to kill them.
2. They can live up to a year without eating and only feast once a year... so if you think they are going to die in your house like a fly after a few days you got it all wrong.
3. They can't jump (thank heavens!!) they crawl to the edge of blades of grass extend their arms and waiting for their unsuspecting prey!
4. This is just awful to realize... females lay anywhere from 3000 to 5000 eggs! not cool luckily it has to be an their prey... icky!!! so n e ways At home schyler checked his bike shorts only to find one on the inside... hahaha I know where that tick was headed nasty lil' bugger! lol All in all we are safe now... not so sure we want to continue riding that trail but had fun and enjoyed it!

So many of you know I am the Primary music director. It has been fun and this is my latest invention. Schyler and I struggled with it so much so I was way nervous about the Junior primary getting any balls into the holes. Come to find out they ROCKED!! The senior primary had more of a problem... the conclusion is that if you tap the ball the will roll around and drop in a hole due to the creases in the paper but if you hit it with more force it just lands in the back or back corners and stays there.

We do miss home terribly and wish we were back but hopefully only one more year of this and we can be back in UT... I do love the people here and the warm weather lol

HaPpY V~dAy!

So today of all days my husband is working... I know sad valentines day right? It's not to bad. He came home with a blue ray dirty dancing:), flowers, then made me breakfast this morning! Such an amazing man!!!
Today was my first day fullfilling my new calling Primary Music Director. I've been moved around so much I think they finally figured that they could have a leader who knows all the childrens names. Seriously, the only class I haven't taught in Primary are the new sunbeams, all others covered and accounted for. So today I did a lil' lesson on He Sent His Son. If you know they song you know there are questions then there are answers. So luckily from the help of another chorister's blog I saw the idea Door #1 or Door #2. What you do is have the answers to the questions behind one of the doors and the wrongs behind another. Then you have a kid choose a door see if they picked the right answer and go ahead with it that way. Since it was valentines day I tried to incorporate that into my lesson. Under each chair was a heart with "way to sing your heart out" written on it. There were five different colored hearts while the others were pink and red. So I choose a color (blue) the one person with that color came up and picked the door. It went well I think, considering it was my first time and I had the stake primary there to watch my every move. lol It was fun. This calling is going to be a lot more time consuming then my other calling but I think just as rewarding. The thing I focused also on which I thought I would share with you all was the importance of Valentines day spiritually. I never really thought of Valentines day as being a spiritual thing but when you think of it you always think of Love. The greatest expression of love ever given to mankind was through the suffering and pain of the atonement. Christ loved us so much that he carried a weight unbearable for all others so that we could return to him. The thing is how do we return that love, do we accept or reject his message. Do we love our families but hate our neighbors? Do we give service only when it's conveniant for us? Do we try be cool with our friends instead of "trying to be cool" to the one who matters most? Our Savior set a pathway before us so that we can follow him and live with him again. So this valentines day think about sharing His Love to all!

Tis' The Season To Be Jolly.... new Years! and school begins all wrapped into one blog

Well I was supposed to post this when I was home for the holidays but pretty soon life became very busy there trying to visit with everyone. Schyler and I are doing well. He is now taking only 12 credits because last semester was a little rough with him being at school constantly and work. We now have time to actually work out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also get to play ball at the church every Wed. night. I enjoy being able to do that now. I am at the school Monday wednesday and friday from 9-6 or 7 at night do to work and my schedule but luckily we still get to see each more than last semester.Right now I should be studying for my chemistry test but have opted to doing this lol... but n e ways because i didn't send out christmas cards I was going to to do the top ten for 2009 so here it is also
10. Schyler had surgery #4 on his shoulder.
9. Schyler got home from his mission in March.
8. Schyler got a job working with Rem.
7. I got a job doing research in the Chemistry department.
6. I stopped playing basketball.
5. I didn't have ACL surgery unlike the last two years.
4. Schyler did an unbelievable proposing in May just after I came home.
3. Schyler and I both moved to Minot to go to school.
2. We went on a cruise with my family to Baja Mexico.
1. Last but not least we were married in the Manti Temple on July 10, 2009.

Hello everyone! Well who knew we would actually get to come home for Christmas and have such a wonderful time! Schyler has flown back to the cold lands covered with 3 feet of snow while I am staying at home. I miss him terribly and I'm sure he would say the same (if not... he's in big trouble!) I am sure he is filling up his time with playstation 3 as that is what I surprised him with for his birthday... I sent him on a treasure hunt. let's see how you all do

The first clue was 0 to 9 you can now push the button to start the time.

Here he got new socks with the saying Your looks knock my socks off!
Next clue was You are almost there, this next clue lies where you sit down with no underwear.

Here he got the 2 muskeeters candy bar and it said... All for me and none for all hahaha

Next clue was 52 white plus 36 black equals 88

Here he got a starburst and it said You put the twinkle in my eye and make my heart burst.

Next clue was Make sure you use this things to stay fit or you'll end up looking like S$@!.

Here he got a big case of mountain dew it said Do the dew or Do Schyler.

Next clue it said It keeps you warm all winter round.

Here he got a romote controller to the playstation and it said You know how to push my buttons.

The last clue said This is where we make a lot of thunder but don't forget to look down under.

Here he got the playstation three with a posterboard that stated the ten reason why I love him.

When he saw the box he brought it out having no clue it was the playstation and said, "Babe this is heavy" lol He was surprised! So I did pretty good in surprising my honey! So happy babe, even though it's a few days early!

The boys all got to be kids again and got remote control cars that played lazor tag. lol

Carter and I while mom was reinacting the birth of christ with her nativity scenery for ages 3-6 lol

Carter, Dawson, and us right before Santa came in and got all the attention by these two boys

Carter actually would take pictures with us... it was a major chain for the wedding!

I'm not accident prone, inanimate objects just like to pick on me!

Well I guess i should not have said our life is pretty boring because this last Wednesday I ate my words! Wednesday night Schyler went to church ball I stayed home because my ankle has still been bothering me and so I decided to stay off of it and see how it feels in a week or so. So Schyler went to the brutal game where mormons can take their anger out and still feel right because they are "at church" hahaha jk I have seen some pretty aggressive games though. Infact we even have a guy taking charges lately I think he thinks it is the NCBA(National Church Basketball Assosiation) or something. Schyler came home quiet a bit early, to tell you the truth he scared the crap out of me cause I was watching Biggest Loser and wasn't supposed to be cause I was watching it without him (in all actuallity he had already watched it grrr...) So on alert now because i think I am going to be in trouble he limps in. I start laughing and say knock it off stop faking it (eating my words again) he gives me the look (I'm not joking Halee how dare you say that lol) and now I see his massive foot which suddenly appears to be infected by elephantitis. All I can think about is how acidentprone both he and I are and how screwed our children are. His foot is getting better but still is infected by elephantitis and massive breakage of capillaries realeasing huge amounts of red blood cells.(hahaha bruising)

Day 1

Day 2
Today I have been trying to feel my time with things to do since schyler is working. Do you know how frustrating it is when your internet goes out and you can't do n e thing about it. TV is no longer great, cleaning well thats out of the ? (jk that actually got done), and homework well who does that hahaha last resort becomes my phone but I think my mom got tired of me calling lol jk But other than that life is great we are loving the no snow hardly n e cold days here. It is strange but I have a feeling winter is just around the corner and Mother Nature is on vacation right now and when she gets back and sees that her job hasn't been taken care of she is going to hit us and hit us hard! :)

I have been so much happier and enoyed time i actually have to do homework, do research, spend time with my husband, and go to church without having to worry about basketball. I can work out when I want to and do what I want to. I love it. I am going to get a job here soon so if you have n e suggestions let me know! Schyler is doing good in school and is enjoying his job somewhat. It has been a struggle and getting use too. Finals are coming up and i think we are both stressed about them. Hopefully I can get everything done now that i have the time too. OOOO and guess what... we just got tickets for the new twilight movie! So excited to see it and can't wait. Well I know sorry my life is boring hopefully soon it will get more exciting!

K So i know this is way late. But hey i just got a few of the pictures... so Here they are from the wedding. I haven't edited all of them so these are the few that I have. Married life is going good. We are both doing pretty good. I just took my first quant test. It took me two and a half hours... hey it's really not that bad, it took one kid four and a half. Schy is enjoying work for the most part he has had some problems with the kid but we think it is just the kid getting used to him. Schy is doing good with school he just took his first chem test and we will see how he did. Other than that life is great.
